Inspired by Growth, Designed to Transform.

Where Neurodivergence and Well-being Meets Art

A celebration of imperfect beauty and emotional rebirth

“The Embrace” is a mixed-media piece inspired by Kintsugi—the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Instead of hiding cracks, Kintsugi highlights them, honouring the journey that shaped us. This piece explores the beauty found within our own ‘cracks’: the parts of us that have been stretched, broken, healed, and transformed.

I began the painting back in April 2023 and revisited it many months later. I love returning to pieces that call me back—because every return reflects a different stage of my life, a new perspective, and spiritual growth.

This painting has evolved alongside me.

‘The Embrace’

The Embrace will be part of the Roots Exhibition hosted by In The Frame, a special Arts Council–funded project created to bridge the gap between emerging young artists and the wider art world. Over the last 10 weeks, students from The Bridge Academy (a London SEN school) have been working with an art therapist to develop their own artworks, which will be showcased alongside established artists. The aim is to build confidence, celebrate creativity, and show that a future in the arts is truly possible.

My work will be available through a blind auction, with a starting bid of £5,000. If you would prefer to enquire privately or discuss purchasing directly, please use the enquiry button below.

“This piece speaks to anyone who has rebuilt themselves, learned from pain, found faith and grown into a stronger version of who they were before.”

Meet The Artist

Based in London, Demi creates abstract work inspired by her journey with neurodiversity and emotional healing. Through colour, movement and texture, she uses art as a form of therapy - a gentle way to navigate emotions, soothe overwhelm, and reconnect with peace. Her work is deeply personal, vibrant, expressive and rooted in the belief that creativity can be a powerful tool for self-understanding, especially for neurodivergent minds.
